Whale, Rincon Beach and Cayo Levantado

General Information:
 

Humpback whale watching in the Dominican Republic begins with a trip from the hotels to Las Cañitas, where you embark to the whale sanctuary for a whale watching tour of approximately two and a half hours.

After the sighting, the trip continues to Cayo Levantado or Bacardi Island, where you enjoy a buffet lunch of typical Dominican food and beach time. 

Finally, you will visit Playa Rincón, considered the best beach in Samaná, located in Rincón Bay and surrounded by mountains and coconut trees. You will also visit Caño Frio, a small creek that flows into the beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

Includes: Land and Sea Transportation, Breakfast, Lunch, Cola and Water, Certified Guide.
Recommended attire: Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses, Beach Clothes, Towel.
Places to Visit: Whale Sanctuary, Playa Rincón + Caño Frio, Cayo Levantado. 
Restrictions: No pregnant women, no people in wheelchairs or crutches.

Itinerary: 

06:00 am - Departure from Bayahibe
07:20 am - Departure from Bávaro - Punta Cana
09:30 am - Arrival at Cañita and boarding to go to the whale sanctuary.
11.30 am - End of whale watching and departure to Cayo Levantado, for lunch and beach time (about an hour and a half).
12.00 pm - Arrival to Cayo Levantado, lunch and beach time.
01.30 pm - Departure from Cayo to Samana.
01.45 pm - Arrival to Samaná and board bus to go to Playa Rincón.
02.30 pm - Arrival at Playa Rincon, beach time and Rio Caño Frio (1hour and 30min).
03:15 pm - Departure from Rincón to Muelle de Samaná.
04.00 pm - Departure to Las Cañitas Pier.
04.45 pm - Arrival at Las Cañitas Pier, departure to your hotels in Bavaro and Bayahibe.
